Playing music after goals is bad sportsmanship, our club would never sink that low.

Especially Tom Hark by the Piranhas.

I don't think it's bad sportsmanship, I just find it tacky.

Just catching up with the forum so apologies for bringing this thread back up, but my two pence - the initiative to showcase local music at half time is fantastic and it's based on a longstanding synergy between football and indie music. I love it, the music in recent months has been much improved and it's definitely part of my match day experience.

That said, please can we turn the volume down a few notches? It was painfully loud at the last couple of home games, particularly at half time. Everyone's a winner then.

Absoluely agree that the volume needs to be less.

Pump it right up to 11.

No complaints from me tonight. The volume was better, and the music was a step up from last weekend. I've not quite turned into my dad yet.

I couldn't hear the music tonight, but did we attempt. To play the Ukrainian national anthem?

I was humming it all the way home. Catchy.

Volume much better.

The fact I couldn't hear what was playing other than a brass band suggests otherwise.

Don't think it helps that the sound varies depending where you're standing. It was very loud on the popular side for example.

What I assume was the Ukrainian National Anthem was indeed quiet - most likely due to the source being recorded at a low level and then played back without adjusting the amplifier volume. The rest of the output from the sound system was plenty loud enough.

We were able to hold a converstion at half-time without resorting to lip-reading and sign language. We even conversed about the 45 minutes football we’d just watched. What a novelty.

However, if you want to turn it down another notch on the Pop Side for CB, that’s fine by me.
