Was on loan at M*cc. Now signed a permanent 2 year deal with them for an undisclosed fee.

If we've got any sort of fee for him, it has to be a decent bit of business.

Macc have said he has become their record signing (for the new club, I assume), so it's good business, I agree, although I never expect players who are signed with the future in mind to make many or any, appearances before they depart; see also Lewis Salmon.

While we never got to see what he was capable of in red and white, it's fair business to bring a lad in for nish and get a fee for him without a ball being kicked.

Spot on. Plus if he is destined for the FL (as some are certain of) it won't be with Mac so hopefullly a nice sell on on fee will be coming our way.

We signed him at the start of the season as one for the future and sent him straight out on loan to give him game time I think.

He came on as a sub in a couple of pre-season friendlies at West Didsbury & Chorlton & Nantwich Town & then signed a contract for Alty before being immediately loaned to Macclesfield FC.

Make sure we get the money upfront before they have financial problems again.

Very cynical but excellent advice! 😉
