First time I saw Scarborough we beat em 6-0 in the FA Cup. Jackie scored five and pat connelly scored the other.
If my memory serves me correctly, Jackie scored four goals in the last six minutes including two in the last minute.
I was a very mature fifteen years old! 🤯

Indeed. With the (junior) admission prices in those days it must work out at about tuppence a goal! 😉

...so Scarborough did indeed defeat Warrington to clinch their place in the National League North next season. Another 'big name' at that level, which is good to see.

They'll be joined by an entirely new proposition at that level in the form of Peterborough Sports, who defeated Coalville in the Southern League Central playoffs.

Unless they've vastly improved, it probably says something about the disparity between northern and central levels that Coalville can contest the central final.

If Peterborough sports do go into the North, there'll be decent Christmas fixtures without much travelling with them, Kettering and Brackley playing eachother.

Perhaps Boston as well?

Yes, there could be quite a big cluster of sides within reasonably reachable distance from each other on that patch compared to most other seasons.

If they have to readjust the boundaries, it might make most sense to move Gloucester back over to the South again.
