Yes. It's beginning to look increasingly like Gateshead and A.N.Other.
I'd love it to be Curzon but I think it's going to be Brackley or York.

I see Gateshead thrashed Kiddy 4-0 this afternoon. And I was quite looking forward to cottage pie again next season 😂
Shockingly the food has gone at Kiddy, they changed them last year, just the usual burger and chips stuff now

In that case I'm not arsed about going. We never win there anyway.

Rowe effectively sacked at Chesterfield whilst top of the league.
Maybe tainted goods at present until the dust settles......which it will

I think him & Fylde are a match made in heaven, personally. I don't think they'll be put off at all.

It appears this one passed me by... James Rowe was indeed appointed and he's 3 games in already!

Seems he's started well. I hope they don't sneak up.

Got to be gateshead for the title and Brackley for the play offs I would have thought?
With regards to Brackley, given that they average about 600 for home games, are they massively funded by someone?

Brackley are majority owned by Allan Leighton who has been very high up over the years at loads of big name companies. Their accounts are quite low in detail but they generally run at a loss and I daresay money is pumped in to keep them running at that level.

Wow. Just wiki'd him. He must be worth a few bob!
Wonder if he'll be prepared to cough up considerably more per season to keep them in the national?

Pretty sure Banbury will join them from Southern Central division, where they amassed 102 points from 40 games.

Some interesting results in from the playoff semis:

South Shields beaten at home by Warrington (on penalties) so they'll be waiting at least another year at that level.

They'll go to Scarborough in the final after they came through their home game against Matlock - would be great to see them back at a decent level in non league (we won the AGM Cup at their expense if I remember correctly).

One level down, Runcorn will have home advantage against Marine for a chance to return to the NPL - similarly it would be great to see them at a good level again.

Marske have also reached their playoff final in the East.

Yes. It's a shame for Workington though. If they'd have won away at the bottom of the league in their last match instead of getting a draw they'd have won the league on Saturday. The home defeat by Marine in the semi finals last night was no doubt in part due to a hangover from that.
Also, personally, would like to see Warrington beat the odds against Scarborough. They've been knocking on the door since we were down there.
