So we're planning to play 5 or 6 at the back then??!

Seriously, I'm beginning to lose track of the squad now.
Which loanees are still with us (and for how long) and which have gone?
What's the score with Hampson?
Are the ones we've sent out on loan gone until the end of their contracts (ie not coming back)?

Be interesting to see if this season we've exceeded the number of players appearing during the Young tenure.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Hampton and Hannigan will be long term absentees.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Dens and White as fullbacks.

As for the centre backs then it has to be Toby plus one other, Mudimu seems ok . The new bloke Ferguson is a big tall lad which would give us some much needed height and presence in the team.

One common theme amongst the new players is that all seem to be well over six feet tall and with a bit of pace. Wonder if Parky's expecting us to face a lot of hoofball between now and the end of the season?

The recruitment strategy has all become rather perplexing. 

With the recent departure of Peers and the unfortunate injury to Conn-Clarke respectively, I was rather hoping that we would increase our options in attack.

It's almost as if we are already holding public trials for next season.

That's probably not too far from it.
Especially if we plan to go at least hybrid, quite a number of our defenders have jobs they'd be reluctant to leave as proven in the last close season.

It is absolutely a case of us holding informal trials for next season. I just hope that at least a draw tomorrow will effectively take us 4 games clear of Weymouth and keep us up.
