So glad I listened whilst working, Rob came across very well, passionate, honest and quite eye opening with some of the revelations over PP potentially going to an efl club earlier in the season. Well worth a listen.

Could this be one of the reasons why team spirit and determination might have dropped off a bit?

I wouldn't have thought so, if PP sown commitment to the club then the players will feel the same I would have thought maybe?

I think as he is staying then his commitment to the club is apparent.

Personally,  I’m glad he didn’t go elsewhere.

I 100% agree. I was just musing really.

Also, he's clearly thought well of  by other clubs despite some on here questioning him. Time to get behind him and pull together eh?

I'd wager the approach probably wasn't when we're 15th.

As I've said, right long term major but we can't afford relegation.

Even those who want to see change in the fortune of the team were fully behind them on Saturday. But this Parkinson FC nature is boring.

Those that feel the success of Altrincham is down to Parkinson alone. That he is the messiah of the football club and can't be questioned.

As I said, Robski said, I come to watch Altrincham FC - we. existed before Phil and will exist after. As. Much as long term his philosophy is the blue print for FL. Bid.

I do agree with you to an extent.

Before this recent patch of form I'd been scared stiff of what would happen if/when Parky moved on - I'm actually more relaxed about it now, it's more about what happens behind the scenes to allow us to kick on - the success of moving players on for fees is something to be really pleased about, that model is working.

The thing that concerns me more is if/when this particular conveyor belt dries up, because it's a big part of allowing us to punch above our weight. For that reason, I'll defend the 2-year contracts more than most, because a player slightly outstaying his welcome is less damaging than a good one leaving for nothing.
