3 of my worst Alty games in a space of a month.

Minutes 17 to 48 yesterday were the worst I've seen us under this manager, and could only be described as the pits. Totally unacceptable levels of closing down in the build up to their goals, an absence of heart and an alarming collapse of morale.

Colclough arguing with 14 year old Solihull fans AS PLAY WAS GOING ON was the most amateurish thing I can ever seeing from Alty, worse than having no ball boys at the Gateshead replay. Leitch-Smith getting involved with them at the end of the game, Kosylo's moronic red card, it was just pathetic.

I had faith that this was a soluble problem prior to yesterday.

Yesterday many people lost their heads in the stands and on the pitch due to that refs performance. Don’t get me wrong we were woeful but the impact of the red card and subsequent wind up decisions was significant

On a more amusing note as I was leaving the ground the haribo Mafia were just heading round to the away exit to continue their infantile activities when they were intercepted be a steward “that way to the exit please” says the steward pointing back away from the Alty fans. The response from this would be hooligan?

“My mum is picking me up from over there”

“Well you can phone her and tell her to pick you up from the main gate” says the clearly amused steward

Sounds a bit like “My Dad can beat your Dad”

If you read between the lines, Phil's not impressed. I think some changes will happen and a new CH is on way in and probably a LB. Thought Brian did a good interview with some spot on questions. He's write in wanting stability, but some of that he has brought on himself with team selection. As a collective he needs to get more from the team. We need to defend better as a unit and close down.

I'm not suggesting we become a hoof-ball outfit, but we have to stop fart-arsing around with the ball in and around our own box.

The two red cards are shown in Phil’s interview. They are both absolutely disgraceful decisions.

I can see why they were given, but in my eyes very soft, if we appeal will they get over turned? I'm not so sure but worth a go. On the performance, it was poor, especially the first half. Marginally better the second. Need to react better when situations go against us.
