Best striker we've had at Alty since Colin Little, bringing him back is an absolute no-brainer for me. He left to take up an excellent deal and who can blame him. The fact that weve spent 18 months trying to find a replacement and not even come close says how good he was for us. A forward line of Colclough, Mooney, Hancock, Kosylo and Hulme will be a great watch.

Damian Reeves not too bad back in the day

I am pretty sure your Carver's and  Charman's are out of our current reach.

I don't think Hulme would have been in PP and Neil's top 5 targets but we need to be realistic here. We can't afford or even maybe attract the top strikers.

We desperately need that number 9. Yes Hulme is older but we know what we would be getting. He would need to get up to speed like all the new players but he would be a huge improvement on what we currently have.

Signing or loaning Hulme short term / potentially another season would be a good move and give us some time to find our future no.9 and not panic into signing another poor forward.

I'm 71 and I'm still in my mid 50s like you.

Have to say I’m not in a hurry to see you trotting out in an Alty kit anytime soon matey 😉

He'd not be much worse than one or two we've had Ray !

Until recently I'd have been very hesitant about welcoming back Hulme, however, having tried (and failed) to find a replacement, I think we are right to re-sign him.  Let'd hope that this IS the answer to our lack of goals.  Welcome Jordan.  #coyr

I'm a bit dubious but if he's the answer then fantastic.
Let's be honest, nobody else has done it for us up front this season.
Wise move to make it a season long loan. Gives him a carrot for when we go hybrid /full time next year.

The only real problem as I see it here, and that’s if it’s true what I’ve been told, is that we’ve had to pay 100% of his Fylde wage, which apparently is in the region of £700/£800 per week. Now I know we’re desperate for a striker, and I mean absolutely desperate and I know that PP has got the likes of Fitzpatrick, Peersy and Dinanga off the books, but with EO and JH coming in on the money they are, the Jordan one is a HUGE risk on that kind of money.

Anyway, I’m pretty happy with these two, I think they’ll provide us with the ammunition we’ve been craving. Good luck boys

As someone mentioned earlier in the thread, he is completely unproven at this level, so I'm not expecting miracles, but it will be interesting to see how he does for the remaining part of the season, and then maybe go for someone more experienced at this level, if required and if finances allow.

Well AJ Leitch-Smith is on £500 per week and hardly plays. I bet Dinanga is on more. I personally feel it is a gamble worth making.

Chuffed to bits the lad is back.

I am confident  that our play up top improves somewhat now Jordon is back, I bet Josh Hancock is happy also.

Also it will be great to see Martin and Jo back on the terraces.

Welcome back Jordon..
