Who's coming in then?
« on: January 01, 2022, 01:17:45 PM »

And when!
Was going to title this thread as 'New Signings' but that would have been too much of a tease.

We should have a thread about this. Who do we think might be coming in?
And when?!

Strongest rumours are Hulme and the Chester Fullback.

Hulme announced on social he's returning to PT work from January

The Chester full back is a right footed right back. Surely we don't need another one of those?

Ashley Hemmings (even though he's too old and too small) and next Summer when we've changed the squad a bit and moved towards full time (we hope). :)

My guess would be we'll hear something tomorrow so whoever they might be, we can get them training with the squad before the next game at Barnet.
I hope that's the case anyway 😎😉

Whoever it is....let's hope we can increase our goals to clear cut chances ratio. I do think our style is to simply score more goals than the opposition (Kevin Keeganesque)

1.8 points per game over 273 games at Newcastle when gung-ho.....does not seem too bad a record to me

What I meant was the "I'd just love it" Season when his team blew a ten point lead in the title race with that philosophy.

PS. I do like KK despite all that and would love Alty to be successful that way.

I think he must have made more friends with it than anything he ever did on the field. 😉 😂😂

I think we’ll see movement in the next 24/48 hours, specifically Jamie Morgan from Chester on a free transfer. Fitzpatrick is apparently moving in the opposite direction but I’m told the reason behind the Morgan signing is due to us possibly selling Senior with a couple of clubs interested.

We could also potentially sign Hulme back depending on wether Fylde get their main target in, who appears to be Charman from Darlington.

Charman seems to be a very good prospect. Looks like the kind of number nine we should be interested in.
