I think we’ll see movement in the next 24/48 hours, specifically Jamie Morgan from Chester on a free transfer. Fitzpatrick is apparently moving in the opposite direction but I’m told the reason behind the Morgan signing is due to us possibly selling Senior with a couple of clubs interested.

We could also potentially sign Hulme back depending on wether Fylde get their main target in, who appears to be Charman from Darlington.

That's Jones, Smith, Salmon, Hulme and Senior all gone for decent fees.

Let's buy a household name and have a proper go at the 2nd half of the season.

I think Romelu Lukaku is out of favour at his parent club at the moment.

Jones left for nothing at the end of his contract, although you could of course be referring to Johnston who did go for a fee (although I suspect we invested all of that immediately).

Ah, I could save face and agree but I meant Jones and I was wrong on him.

Johnson money was properly invested into Mahon Durell and Mooney. I can't say the same for others so far.

Is there anyone else from Fleetwood's development squad worth a go, they've generally looked pretty decent?

There's a lad called Max McMillan that scored on his first team debut for them in the JPT...

Have our first choices fallen through?

Barnet and Stockport with 16 players and one lad who might take a few weeks to get up to speed. This group need to pill together and get us to 40 points ASAP.

It's looking more and more like Hulme and that won't happen until they (i.e. Fylde) have brought someone in first.
Just hope we're not putting all our eggs in one basket!

Almost like Fylde won't let a striker go without a replacement.

Wish we'd thought of that before Hulme left...

It's the frustration of not knowing that is difficult to take.
Speculating about Hulme is to be expected (to some extent), but it may be that some supporters have read rather too much into some earlier posts.

I understand the need for discretion on behalf of the club and board but, naturally, in light of this, there is bound to be rampant speculation amongst the supporters. People will sometimes be correct and sometimes not so much.
Although this does feed the rumour mill, it's inevitable.
We're all hoping for definite news as soon as possible aren't we? I'm sure the club recognise this and will put us all straight as soon as possible.
