I almost think this thread could be revisited on Saturday when hopefully the new player(s) have been announced as suspect whoever it is has a good chance of going straight into the team. Obviously a very tall order whatever but the players professional pride & us being at home means for me it should at least be a lot closer than Boxing Day.

This will give us the time needed to integrate the new players that are (hopefully) on their way.
Parky is certainly clearing the decks ready for them. Fitzpatrick has left at the end of his short term contract.

Also a third (Wrexham included as they declared at half time) heavy defeat on the trot would not be helpful and has been avoided. A Tuesday later on after we've regrouped could be much better for us.

After the league completely pulled our pants down by forcing us to play Solihull when we had a million players unavailable, it’s good to see we’ve now got a fairer outcome on this occasion. Look forward to this one a bit later in the season.

Have to cross fingers I can get to the rescheduled game. Ticket bought and I don't want a refund, I want to get to the game.

I see we are now on for next Tuesday 11 Jan for this match. That’s much sooner then I assumed it would be, but should at least put to bed some of the conspiracy theories from the more excitable end of Stockports fanbase on social media and their forum in the aftermath of yesterday being PP. There was a strong whiff of arrogance and entitlement coming across from some I regret to say.

Shame it’s now on a school night in the middle of winter as the club are undoubtedly going to lose money now on hospitality and ticket sales but that’s Covid for you. On the pitch, we’ll just have to see first who is available for Barnet and any more incomings, no idea what the XI will look like just yet.

It is a shame but I can't attend next Tuesday. Does anyone know how I get a refund? Nothing on the club site and no reply to my email.

I'd suggest checking when the office is open for ticket sales and give them a ring on 0161 928 1045. I'm sure they will be able to help you.

PS. 11 to 2 Thursday and Friday.

PPS. This is just a (hopefully helpful) suggestion.
