Baffles me why we don't try Hanks......

He did well there towards the end of last season

This would then allow Kossy No.10, which is his best position because he drops deep to help the CM's and his distribution on the wing is poor.

Then we can play our best wide players Mooney and Colclough.

Hanks is strong, intelligent, can keep the ball and has a decent strike on him.

We have tried so many no.9's give Hanks or Leitch-Smith 10 games.

I agree 100% on this point. I'm sure Parky thinks the same, finding one is not easy.

Halifax play him there and that's his squad number.
Haven't we enough for that position or were you advocating playing him up front.

Warburton wanted to stay full time so I don’t think there was any realistic chance of us greeting him. And yes, he’s also a No 10 so not what we need anyway.

Given the amount of people who'd stick Hancock up top, Warburton would have given us the option play one of these upto and one behind.

I think a better option would be someone like Carver from Southport, or that young lad from Carlisle (Fishburn?) that was tearing it up for Lancaster further down the period, I understand Carlisle were looking to move him higher up the pyramid.

I'm sure the management team are continuing to look at options for us.

While we're still part-time, players like Langstaff who are based miles away aren't really an option.
