I see now that there is an article on John's 'Alty Files' site taken from the  match day programme on Tuesday and written by Bill.  This outlines the essential work that is deemed necessary.  I was not aware of this earlier and I wish to thank Bill for providing this.  On the face of it it doesn't seem as bad as I thought it might be.  I suppose it all comes down to cost and if we can afford it.
do you have a link please ?

Certainly.  Please see ALTY HEADLINES  18 Nov 2021 - ALTY'S ATTENDANCE RESTRICTIONS

Is it worth the club doing a crowd funding site with the fans, as we have done in the past?

I have included a poll to the thread to test how fans feel about providing assistance to the project. If you can think of any other categories I should add let me know and I will edit the poll.

After the disappointment of the Fan Zone, whether I part with any money would depend on the information provided. I know that might sound a little harsh but I've lost a bit of confidence in us getting these things right. I do appreciate the pitch work looks to be a massive success but we paid a specialist company accordingly so it's no surprise. I guess I need to know we're getting this done properly before I financially back any sort of construction again. I'm hardly a benefactor that put in thousands but yeah, just my take.

More than happy to help over the weekend if stuff needs shifting. That's about all I could probably do!

Someone said somewhere one issue is is uneven paving slabs (though I might be going - even more - stark raving bonkers!).
How much are paving slabs and/or can we sponsor any within the ground?

I have closed the poll as it feels somewhat irrelevant now that we have Bill's statement (19/11/2021) on the Club Website that talks about employing Structural Engineers.  I guess there may be areas of the required works where fan volunteers could still help and I am sure that the club will put out an appeal if needed.  Same goes for Crpwdfunding

I am also sorry if the opening line of my original posting seemed somewhat harsh and I apologise to Bill in particular for the tone of it.
