Altrincham 2-1 Gateshead a nervy victory infront of a near sell out crowd with alty fans housed on both chequers end and the golf road as the 87 gateshead are housed in the family stand roaring

Yep, it’ll be nervy with what’s at stake but I think Saturday was a proper return to form for us after all the injuries/covid and resembling a more regular team as well. Attendance wise I’d heard we’d sold about 1000 by last night with under 50 from Gateshead so stick them in half the family stand or something, we should get both ends of the ground. Reckon if ticket sales continue as they have done we’ll be on for a similar gate to Saturday, 2500ish.

Perhaps we could gainfully employ the karate folks when we’re ready to demolish the perimeter walls.  Would be good  for the environment, Greta Thumberg may become a Patron next season 😂😂

Tom Hannigan seemed to be in some pain when he came off on Saturday. I suspect it's his dodgy back (with which I can unfortunately empathise) and hope he's fit enough to start on Tuesday. I'd certainly start Whitehead, who impressed me on Saturday. Is Brad Jackson injured ?

Jackson did his hamstring at Southport.

Capacity is reduced again tomorrow to 2,344

Match is all ticket and away supporters will be in the family stand.

Tickets on sale until 5pm tomorrow.

Baggley is away with the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad.

He was an unused substitute for them against Lithuania yesterday and they are scheduled to play against Malta on Tuesday evening.

Instead of a Lads holiday, he should be here

Wouldn't Fleetwood be making that kind of decision?

I was joking

@Cult - How many players have we lost due to international duty?

I'm struggling to think of a precedent.

If there is one, it would have to be something ultra obscure, such as Lee Ramoon being away on international duty for the Cayman Islands in 1994.

I don't think that Danny Higginbotham was with us long enough for any international call-up by Gibraltar to interrupt his fleeting Alty playing career!

Potentially a pivotal day for the club.
Come on Alty.

Would be happy with the same XI from Saturday, not sure if Porter is permitted to play for us and with returning players, that might be one change.

Tom Hannigan would be a huge miss again, I sincerely hope he's available. He's also going to be a huge player to try to replace permanently, I'm dreading it.

Come on lads.

Porter, along with the three other current loanees, featured in the original Gateshead match and so is available tonight.

Incidentally, Whitehead joined us on a month-long loan on October 15th so he may now have gone back to Port Vale unless we've extended the loan.

Something tells me Marc Joseph played for Antigua and Barbuda during his time here but that's a hunch.

Right team playing and a decent bench. Hopefully the fans there can still make the lads feel at home. Cmon ALTY

Someone didn’t pay the Spotify bill. Do we really need to hear ads at half time?

Just gave away stupid goals; so very disappointing, especially missing out on the ££££ when we need them
