So the draw has been made (full draw on attached link) & Alty have been drawn at home to Nantwich...

As we have risen up the leagues and given the professional status of our league, it is a reserve ish looking fixture if we can get away with it

Not sure it counts as a first team competition nowadays.
The great days of a packed ground for a two legged final against Witton are long gone.

Think we've had this conversation previously.
My view is that it would only work if it was for clubs from say NLN and up to make it meaningful pre season.
Perhaps a Junior Cup for the rest?
Not sure that would be popular though.
