This but I’d play Furman ahead of Pringle, based solely on their respective showings on Tuesday night

From what I've seen (wasn't there on Tuesday though) Furman seems to be a defensive midfielder like Moult by inclination but I think he's deserved his shot.

I don't really think it's a game where we should be setting up with two defensive midfielders. We need to be on the front foot from the off.

I agree, think Parky will rotate a little and bring in replacements for the walking wounded. But be attacking as we want to progress.

Regardless if Mooney and Kos were fit, I'd give Jackson and AJ a start.

I'd also consider resting Moult and trialling Furman and Pringle

On the fairly safe premise that a Liam Watson team will subject us to an aerial bombardment, I don't think that an afternoon at Haig Avenue constitutes the ideal occasion to be resting Jake Moult.

Aye, Moult is essential on Saturday.

Are you suggesting 4-4-2?

The placing of the semicolons would suggest 4-2-3-1 with peers playing wide instead of Kosylo, who moves to number ten, and Hanks.
Interesting but unlikely.

After reading the Southport forum it seems they are expecting a win or worst and draw, even if we drop a few regulars and we turn up we will murder them they do not realise the difference in the two leagues, if we dont turn up then its anyone's game but I don't think parky or sorvs will let that happen.

Try telling that to the Birmingham City,Everton, and Spurs of this world on paper they should have won by a mile.If we turn up i don't see an issue but this is cup football and this competition has a habit of causing upsets my prediction
