Interview with robininstockport's favourite manager:

He seems a sensible sort. I thought I'd look at the Conference North table to confirm what a capable chap he is.😂😂😂

And having considered his son's less than impressive impact over the 90 minutes, I have to throw in an accusation of nepotism.

Have they narrowed their pitch on purpose to facilitate hoof-ball and percentages? If so, pretty embarrassing.

I suspect that the narrow pitch is in place to facilitate their obsession with long throw-ins.  They have the basis of a sound netball team.

I am not going to say that I was disappointed with Alty's performance overall but I would of liked us to step up a gear and finish them off completely by adding a further goal or two at 3-1.

A trip to Gateshead was not what I desired.  We never seem to do very well there.  A trip to Merske is a banana skin waiting to be stepped on  ... I am now sorry that I took the pish when they knocked Chester out  :D

My prediction is:  A narrow Alty win against either of them after a hard fought game or maybe after a replay at Moss Lane.

Happily take a draw to get them back to Moss Lane as with a decent sqaud we should have more than enough over 180 minutes.

As for Saturday Our starting XI was missing 5 first choice players against Southport (Thompson, Mallarky, Mooney, Colclough, Dinanga or AJ), and for the first 25 minutes it showed.
