Local village cricket team vs the footy team in a charity game. Dunno how it works - the wicketkeeper is also the goalkeeper.

I'm going to stay indoors and watch Jersey Bulls in the Cup at 12.30 on BBC.

I don't really like the moniker 'Bulls'.  I guess it is made in reference to the Jersey breed of cattle, however, I would have been more impressed if they would have called themselves Jersey New Potatoes.

I Refereed a very pleasant Cheshire FA Under 16 Girls Cup fixture which Lymm won 1-0
Does that qualify?

I went down to Shropshire and saw Shifnal Town beat Walsall Wood 2-1 in the Midland League Premier in front of 130.
I think it's Shifnal's first ever season at this level (North West Counties Premier equivalent) and they have now gone second in the table, overtaking Worcester City.

When are Worcester getting their own ground? They should be at least in the NLN really. They used to be one of the biggest APL clubs in the 80's.

They are back in Worcester now, but playing at the Worcestershire County  FA HQ.  I believe they have managed to fit a couple of kit stands into what's a very basic ground, and they get 400 or so watching them each week, which is good for the level.
The other oddity  in the city is that a club called Worcester Raiders have got a groundshare with Worcester Warriors rugby union, although City get much better crowds.
Yes, I agree, Worcester City are really a club of the same stature as ourselves, which is why I mentioned them being leapfrogged by smaller clubs.
