Whilst things need improving upon after Monday, we're certainly not at panic stations. I'd start the same XI (LB is the only argument really), but would hope that Furman can make the bench.

Any kind of win for us would do for me.
Fitzpatrick at LB if available, otherwise same team.
I'm going for 2-0.

Not attended either match but sounds like 2 contrasting performances leading 2 polar opposite results. Given Torquays start to season our win their might be matched by many.

Fully expect to beat both Dover and Kings Lynn, but that brings pressure.

Can't see Fitzpatrick being fit to start so same starting 11.

I agree, it's not quite time to ring the changes yet - these lads clearly need game time and it showed on Monday.

We don't seem to have many goals in us, so a fortuitous 1-0 off someone's backside will do.

Goals may well be a recurring problem. I hope to see Furman at some point - could be a Boshell/Kearney type influence.

I think Furman is more of a Moult sort of player than a Kirby.

Agree with this. No question you’d have taken 3/6 from Torquay and Halifax away before the season kicked off but we now need to back that up with a big home game against cheating Dover-6/9 and it’s been a good start to the season. With no City or United on Saturday I’d hope we can push the gate towards 1500ish, granted they’ll be hardly any away fans.

I’d also keep the same line up and give everyone a fair chance but I really hope we see Furman at some point on Saturday.

Alty 3-1 Dover on the first game on the new pitch.

Unfortunately can’t make this one as have a previous engagement with a set of golf clubs.

Looking like others for a response after Monday's debacle. Any win would lift the Spirits. I'd imagine a similar starting line-up to Monday barring injuries or players returning such as Fitz.

I’m not to concerned about performance or score. Just the win, games like Saturday need to yield 3 points
. Put 18 pts between ourselves and dover by Saturday teatime and it’s one down two to go in our first aim for the season

If we are going to progress from last season and finish mid table not middle of the bottom half we need to be taking 3 points tomorrow. Yes that brings pressure but us fans are owed a performance after Monday.

3-1 win. Dinanga x2 and Hanks from the spot. Att 1002

That result would be nice. I think there will be nearer to 1200 there though 😉

PS. Have you just put the 2 in the wrong place? 😂
