Looks like TT has had one save to make all game. Top performance. Hope we can sustain the same form through the season..

Odd that the highlights don’t show any of our time wasting that apparently won us the match. It’s almost as if what happened while the ball was in play is all that really matters.  Perhaps their manager should have a word…..

Maybe they should have a highlights package concentrating on the "game management"?

I remember the footage from the 0-0 draw at Cambridge United when they missed out on promotion - Stuart Coburn taking his time at goal kicks was probably the best part of it!

I would say that was the most we've taken there, even more than the first ever visit.

Have they ever actually taken that many to Moss Lane? :)

The trouble with older managers like Johnson is that they've started to run out of ideas and enthusiasm (think Jim Harvey). Torquay will probably get shut of him a dozen matches in when they realise that the Promised Land will remain tantalisingly out of reach again unless new ideas come into play.

With Torquay conceding an average of practically 3 goals a game  (even when they won at Maidenhead) maybe my estimate of "a dozen games" was too generous. If they lose at home to struggling Southend, their next match being at Chesterfield, he'll be lucky to make it into October.
