Not to be confused with Withdean United. Did they ever reform? And what was Brighton (and Hove's) role in this? Not an AFC Wimbledon job I suppose?

Never done fantasy football myself (though I used to watch it), but I seem to remember that in the 90 Minutes league there was a team called Timperley Big Shorts. I didn't know what that was about at the time...

Shortdean United is simply an anagram I used when I first entered a fantasy football competition, which was in "The Sun".

It rearranges as "I don't read the Sun".
