Is that the channel for Kosylo to run into?

Or the foundations for our brick wall defence!! 😉

Those videos of 'work in progress' are fantastic. They enhance whatever music you're  listening to, and vice versa.
And the beauty of light and heavy plant in perfect harmony.

I have no idea of the science behind high water margin, "that's why it's called Moss Lane", the drains in 'that corner' or the fact that surplus water used to flow direct to the kegs in the cellar of Chequers.
So I take my hat of to those who do. And those who sanctioned sorting it out.

In the 2nd video the cravasses (presumably drainage related) are  semi refilled by the very plant that created them. Beautiful.

We're currently filming a time-lapse of the whole ground works supported with some close-ups. Hope to release the first part over the weekend.

I'm no drainage expert but I did use the type of pipe the man on the machine is using. Its laid into the channel (with a slight fall)and out to to an outlet (the deeper the channel the better) and then backfilled with fine stone. The pipe has thousands of tiny holes in it which allows water (sieved and cleaned somewhat by going through the stone) to percolate into the pipe and form a type of river bed within the pipe. Apparently it does take some time for the system to become effective as the water has to make its way to the pipe over time, but OMG it does work and work well.  The amount of water which mine dispersed on a real wet day was literally like turning a tap on. But there needs to be a adequate outlet! SBL
