Very flat from Eastleigh tonight. Maybe they were tired, or maybe they were under cooked expecting and easier game, but they met an Alty team that's got it's mojo back. Funny how you play better with your best players on the pitch isn't it?

I really do hope  reliable goalkeeper is at the top of the shopping list just under where it says centre-forward.

Centre forward an absolute must if no other player....Worth pushing the boat out as our defence and approach play is good enough

Kossy made the difference.
Also Hanks and Colclough had good second halfs.
Good to see Hannigan back.

Thought Eastleigh were bang average and if it wasn't a poor ball from Thompson don't think they would have scored.

They were hardy attacking at 0-0 so no surprise they just sat in at 1 up. Thought we played some nice patient football ad deserved the draw. If Peers had scored with the last kick of the game it wouldn't have been unjust. Must say Peers has done well in the last 2 games when he's come on.

Couldn't pick a mom to be honest.

Hope we can go out with win on saturday.

I thought that we certainly merited a point from that game. Eastleigh seemed to lack adventure and other than the goal, which arose from a clearance error by Thompson, they really didn't create too much of substance.

Splendid 'assist' by the referee in the run-up to Colclough's equaliser by playing the advantage after Hancock had been fouled by Boyce.

Meanwhile, you just have to love this BBC graphic of the predicted Alty line-up:

Thought we played well tonight... only real lapse was TT error that gave ball away leading to their goal... must also say well done to ref for playing on that then led to our equaliser... we could have even won it late on... plus good to have Dens & Hannigan back...

Looking forward to Saturday & hopefully a win over Torquay to end the season...

Yes, probably their wackiest predicted line up yet, not sure why they bother with it tbh. Total nonsense.

Thought the lads did well tonight, back to how we were playing 2-3 months ago. Defence solid, agree with others that Kossy and Tom Peers did well when they came on. Joel Senior superb again at LB, probably mom but plenty of good showings tonight.

Good stuff tonight. Eastleigh didn't look like a team playing for  a playoff place, although, as the playoffs go so far down, I suppose they are basically a mid-table team.

It must be frustrating for Tom Peers that he always seems to be play better as an impact substitute than when he starts, but that seems to be the way it is.

I would agree that Joel Senior was probably man of the match, although it's difficult to choose. from a number of candidates  However, there is no difficulty in saying it was the best advantage I have seen played by a referee for some time which led to our equaliser.

It was a decent advantage for our goal but other than that I thought he was very ordinary
Perhaps we were spoiled by the superb  performance from Rebecca Welch on Saturday??

The TV commentary seemed to appreciate his refereeing - and I agree - as he kept the game flowing. He was not one of those fussy refs that likes to be centre of attention and seemed to get all the major decisions right, such as the Eastleigh player's "Dive" in the first half.

The weather and pitch is going to be an issue tonight. It’s raining steadily and it’s the heavy stuff with the forecast not showing much improvement. Not any room for manoeuvre really at this stage of the season.

Just got up, and it's not raining here in Timperley - though it clearly has done overnight. The Met Office forecast sunshine and light showers, with no rain after 5pm until well after game time. Our ground staff, in whom I have total confidence, will make sure we're good to go for 7pm.

Neil Brown ( groundsman) had his game plan, and it absolutely worked out.
