Anybody else think that the final 3 games might get transferred to FCUM?

Don't think it's possible. Bill and others have been working on risk assessments and stuff to get moss lane ready for Saturday

I was thinking more upon the lines of the poor weather forecast in the run up to Saturday.

I suspect that the major concern would relate to the staging of our last home match of the season against Torquay United on Saturday, 29th May.

The league will adamant that all of the final round of fixtures should kick-off at the same time. There will effectively be no room for postponements/delays (other than via an act of God!) in order to avoid presenting any team with an unfair advantage in terms of the chase for promotion or play-off places - and it is fully conceivable that Torquay United may well still have the opportunity to win the league on that particular afternoon.

What would happen if the weather forecast were to predict persistent rain in the run-up (or even on the day) of that potentially key final fixture?

I would imagine that the league would almost require a 'guarantee' from Alty that the match would go ahead, so in light of the ongoing problems with our moribund pitch, would we be 'advised' to have an alternative venue on standby?

Ypou raise a very good point.Much planning and, maybe, borrowing of protection/ equipment may be needed!
