Very good article.

Open and honest. I already feel relieved that background scouting is being done in-depth.

Thanks Bill.

I don't think the trust is with the board, it's with the management and that trust the board has in it.

Phill track record with transfers has been pretty damp and right now that's what we need.

The manager has come out on a podcast and said we can't go and make big marquee signings a few days after Bill has said the budgets been upped and the money is there.

Remember we are paying for the injured players and all the new ones that have come in. The budget HAD to be increased for that.

Couldn't the injured be put on Furlough, or flexible furlough if they are required to come in for treatment?

No, because they are not off work due to lockdown, but because of an aspect of being a footballer.

If you work in a supermarket and became ill during the lockdown, they could not put you on furlough.

Bet some people did though!

As for injuries - no Ceesay, no Mooney, no Mullarkey and, until tonight, no Hanks. These are big misses, the sort that have got us relegated from this league in the past - and after the losses of Hulme and Durrell - but we are still doing fairly ok, and I remain optimistic that things will be sorted. And for all the criticism of Peers, he hasn't done that bad - 2 league goals and a Cheshire cup goal, he's a decent poacher.
