Anyone going to this game? I know it will probably only be a mixture of kids and squad members but i'm getting football withdrawal symptoms.

Some of us will always turn up, Im just pissed off that weymouth get the game at Hadjuk Spilt, Ive been to the Hadjuk stadium before, its in a lovely part of the world and I would have loved to see the robins run out in my beloved favourite holiday destination. However, that aside I amongst others already confirmed will be in attendance on the fringes of Moss Side at 11.30 saturday morning, as opposed to being in the shadows of the biokovo mountains with a can of  Ožujsko Pivo in hand.

Good luck to Tom, a product of the Alty supporters team!!  What a story that will be in you break into the first team.

I'm the best manager he has ever worked under, possibly.

There's a lot of role models in that squad! Or was it just rolls?

It's artificial grass. If it's anything like the old astroturf it can be dangerous. Good luck Tom. Lets hope it's not too long before you make your league debut.

I've Reffed on the Astroturf at Platt Lane and it does get 'slippy when wet'

Just glad we probably aren't taking many first teamers (by the look of what I've seen) as this is a identical surface to that at Woodley Sports where we sustained so many injuries in the Cheshire Senior Cup a while back

i thought we would be paying on the Ł90 a 2hr GRASS surface with floodlights pitch. would be good to see what trialists/ reservists GH thinks may make the step up to conf level this season.
