Alty v Solihull on Wednesday
(start of 5 home games from next 6 matches):

So Solihull go into Wednesday's match with Alty on the back of a 3-2 FA Cup win away at EFL Div2 lowly Scun thorpe...
Great win & league scalp but Solihull showed a few defensive issues (especially for Scunnies 2nd goal)...

Alty have several injury concerns with Mullarkey, Sutton, Williams, Mooney, Richman, Ceesay, Adarabioyo, all with various knocks and injuries... so we'll struggle to put out anything like our best team...

Depending on injury updates Team may look like...
TT
Senior
Sass-Davies
Hannigan
Hampson

Moult
Robbins

Kosylo
Hancock
Ceesay

Peers/Miller*

*Hopefully can get a couple of players fit... if Mooney is fit would start him upfront (or push Hancock forward & start Mooney behind in middle)...

We're due a bit of luck so hoping for a win -maybe 1-0 or 2-1.

However, still need to get in proven striker at some point but easier said than done as most decent ones already at clubs.

COYR!  Keep the Faith!!

I reckon he'll persist with Peers up top for now, but I still think we should give Hancock a go there.

He's played there before in his career, and we have other capable no10s now - I'd go Kosylo through the middle and Mooney on the right.

Would leave us light for bench options, although we'd still have Peers and Miller - plus hopefully some players coming back to fitness.

This is going to be a tough game, injuries are mounting, interesting to see how Parky sets the team up.

We are at home at least but we are playing one of the best teams in the league so I'm not very optimistic. The team will probably pick itself given the injury situation - maybe someone can be brought in today?

One of the best teams in the League ? I know they won at SC**thorpe, but the bookies made them favourites for that beforehand !

They haven't won an away League game yet (a draw and two defeats - albeit the draw was at Stockport) and we have to stop being in awe of teams that we could and should beat.

I hope you are right. I really do.

Solihull are a very good team. They more than matched Stockport recently and winning at Scunny was no mean feat! They can also score goals!

Let's just hope that they underestimate us and don't fancy a wet and miserable Tuesday night out in Greater Manchester!

There's probably no reason for them to travel until Wednesday.

Their exertions at SC**thorpe might have come at a good time for us like when we played BPA after Pompey last season.

Hopefully they won't be that up for it.

They're FT aren't they?

Or has my irony filter on the blink?

Not at all confident tonight.Until we sign a decent striker i cannot see were the goals are coming from also we seem doomed on the injuries taking all that into consideration I see nothing but a defeat tonight

If we can somehow score first and defend like demons we have a chance.

Alty 1_0 Solihull. (Kosylo)

Fingers crossed for a goal and no more injuries

Given the injury update, I suspect Peers up top and possibly Miller for Ceesay, who might start on the bench instead.

Hopefully Mooney will be a bench option too at the very least.

Densmore right midfield anybody ? He and Senior should be able to flip-flop pretty well (more flip, less flop please !)
