Big ask Tuesday, another fulltime team. Here's hoping we can cause a shock and get a point or three. Glad I'm not picking the team as I am sure Parky is starting to feel some pressure with us being bottom of the league.

Glad Tom Peers has opened his account now, he will do just fine.

I'd be thinking about 3 centre halves for this one and play Hanks as a false 9. Fingers crossed for Lundstram coming back too.

Tom Peers will not score more than 5 goals this season.

The players do not trust him. Matty Kosolo decided a better option was to continue running at 4 defenders than play Tom Peers through.

Our strikers won't cross, and nobody playing Tom through.

Keep playing Tom Peers and we will be relegated

So who would YOU play up front in his place ? I was baffled yesterday that we took him off when we were needing a goal, and he'd already scored, and replaced him with Curtis Miller who simply doesn't have the requisite experience.

I notice Chris Porter is warming the bench at Crewe. I know he's 36, but he's scored 157 career goals, including 12 in 26 league appearances in last season's promotion campaign. He could be just what we need.

Honestly, after 4 games, anyone.

We could try and stretch the game with Cisse uptop (Parky said he could play there, hence no need for a 3rd striker), we could play Hancock up there with a ballplayer Kosoylo or Mooney behind him; or a runner like Williams. Senior could easily play on one of our wing-backs.

If it's about making it stick; I'd rather have Toby up top than watch Tom "Pleased to be in the dressing room" Peers amble about.

Tom is getting cricistim - before anyone starts - as his job is to score/create goals. He's not done that in 5.
Prior to today, we'd kept a clean sheet at home, and one 1 away to Eastleigh (Notts Count was a blip) otherwise we'd be criticising defenders too.

Hashtag, if you and the rest of us can see the situation clearly, why would you think PP and the management can't?
Give them a bit of credit especially after the last three years 🙄
I believe what can be done is being done and we've got to trust them.

Some of your recent posts, whilst not inaccurate, are certainly not helpful.

It's a difficult balancing act for the management. The balance between rewarding hard work and loyalty pitted against the need to survive. Who'd be a football manager eh? I think PP has got it right practically every time in the past and there's no reason to believe that he isn't working on that right now.

Loyalty didn't exactly work out over JJ and Hulme.

We lose 2-1 because of a mistake by TT/Potter (whoever you want to blame) and a lapse in concentration at the back, Peers scores to get us back into the game and is then subbed straight away and yet all the blame is thrown his way by certain people.  Grow up and pick your games to criticise him more carefully next time.

Thompson hasn't been the reason we haven't won a game this season; he's been sold at Eastleigh and at home to Weymouth (perhaps should have done better for Notts County's second).

We lost the game because we didn't score more than the other team.

Weymouth (Pitch aside) we didn't look like scoring, Notss County didn't like scoring until Mooney came on.

We'll go down for not converting draws into wins over the course of the season.
