Would make an ideal defensive/midfield player for us,after looking at the squad we could do with as many multi-role players as possible.Bringing back Ellender would be like having cover for two or three positions, surely we have more to offer than Gainsborough Trinity.

Hughesy, this subject was covered a week or so back!  Yes I would love to have Paul Ellender back playing for us and yes I reckon we have more to offer than Gainsborough Trinity.

However perhaps geographically a move to Moss Lane would not suit him and also 'AltyTunnelSteward' never rated him!

Not really sure why people don't want him back. He's been doing a good job in the league for a number of years. And when i saw him play for alty he was clearly a class above. Him and Tinson in the squad would be excellent.

He can play in the midfield and would surely be more of a prospect than what we have right now? no offence to val et al!

I believe that the pie and peas at Gainsborough are held in high esteem.

I'd have Ellender back at a flash. I would imagine tho that geographically we are not ideal for him.

And how'd we know that Gainsborough T couldn't offer him more ? ... If we got him back though would we get a free "Timmo" as part of the bargain ?
