Think a tenner overall and the same on the Chester game is a decent punt from this old geezers pension! 😉 😂😏.

I'm not sure it's my bias coming in to play - but we're an excellent price.

The problem of course is 3 games. I think it's unlikely that any team having to play 3 games in such a short period of time will go up. Sorry to be negative. Boston at 9/4 is a good bet.

3 games in 13 games isn't too bad.

Watching all other restart leagues there will be injuries, just depends who picks up a knock

I hope you are right. Last year, we would have lost JJ, Jordan and Josh for the final had we beaten Chorley. The odds are stacked against us but you never know.

Chorley went up on two penalty shoot outs last year; you need luck to go up. Hard to have every piece of luck go all your way over 3 games.

Given there is no extra time I hope there is a lot of pen practice going on

Indeed. One game a week is nothing out of the ordinary. Particularly with no extra time, water breaks during the game, and with the opportunity to substitute half the side.

Once we breeze past Chester, I actually think it puts us at an advantage when we go to York having already played again competitively since the restart.

That last line is a fair point Matt, we should also hang on the the fact that after the first day of the season we have beaten York twice, both away from home, AND NOT CONCEDED.

There is also the fact that we're stronger since then, too.

It's hard not to argue that this team would have won the league from the start (but I guess every team could say that, looking at different patches of form).

Last year I left the Chorley match obviously disappointed but also hugely optimistic about this year as I felt that actually we were the better team/squad....just everything went against us that day and the team was so tired it was painful to watch. I wanted to run on to the pitch myself to give them a fresh pair of legs !! And I predicted (on this site) that based on their style of football that day they would come straight back down. So yes, it needs luck and yes being tired is a real issue. But even if we don't go up, I remain optimistic for the future.

That said, I think these play off's will be more random than usual as its impossible to know how the past 3 or 4 months has affected the players and team dynamics.
