So after announcing the Salford City project was about young local lads and lads that had dropped out of league clubs rather than a vanity project to fly up the leagues. I wonder if any might be interested in coming across to Altrincham

Often these routes are actually designed to create funds for the football club by putting on courses which attract DFE funding.  In many cases the young people do not have much chance of reaching first team football and end up with a related BTEC.  I was approached by a couple of non league clubs to do the same but i didnt think this was ethical.  Not all are like that though, but there are some clubs making a mint out of raising the dreams of young people
