Pulled a hamstring, as outlined by Phil Parkinson in this interview:

The information is out there...!

I was having after the Lord Mayors Show at BPA but we are rapidly becoming a soft centred mess.

It’s about time we stopped feeling sorry for ourselves and woke up, given the utterly woeful performance at Kiddy in September there is no better time for the players to do their thing on Saturday. Come on ALTY!

Don't think you get too many games where you dominate to that extent and don't win but when you take 1 out of 20 chances and a player boardering on dwarfism scores 2 free headers from corners you probably deserve to lose.

Aside from a couple of poor passes that put us in trouble thought Williams ran the game, White was also excellent. Got to feel sorry for Hulme who again worked his bollocks off but is so isolated it's a crime.

Most improved player from Saturday goes to Elliott Wynne who unrecognisable.

Season is done and dusted.

Strange definition of domination ! Apart from the first 15 minutes of the first half, I thought we were poor. Too many of our passes sideways or backwards, or to opponents. We lack the guile to deal with a well organised defence. But above all, we STILL fail to deal with far too many balls into our box. That was our undoing tonight.

Hulme can't do it all on his own up front, and I'm afraid Peers isn't the answer to that problem. We need another proven striker before our season totally implodes.

All about missed chances.

We also lost our shape when both Walker and Peers went off.

I appreciate Peers can be frustrating at times but he drives us forward and can hold defenders off. As for Walker, he is quality.

Walker and JJ should be decent on the wings. Missed JJ carrying us up the field.

Williams was class, became sloppy in extra time but I am guessing his energy levels were zapped.

Hulme was MOTM for me. Great forward play but not much close support tonight.

White was very good. Hampson very average.

We always miss Jones and Hannigan together.

Still think we are 2 or 3 players away from promotion. If we get JJ back soon, find a centre mid to push Williams and another number 10/striker to push both Hancock and Hulme, plus by miracle see Ceesay before the end of the season then we can get into the playoffs.

Rubbish result but lets get a run going. If the grey lets us play ;-)

Didn't think we dominated the game, but we certainly had the majority of possession. Heard a couple of people say after the game that we had loads of chances. I didn't think we did, in the first half a great move produced a decent chance for William's, but it wasn't a bad save by Wynne. After that I didn't think we created a great deal in normal time, apart from the goal, I dont remember Wynne being particularly overworked. He produced two great saves in the first period of extra time but again apart from the indirect free kick and hitting the bar, didn't think we created too many more clear cut chances in ET.
Didn't go to the game on Saturday, but you could see why people who did, rated their central defensive partnership, and overall they looked a decent team who were happy to soak up pressure and then hit us on the break. Indeed we could have been at least 2 down at half time given the chances they created.
One final point, that banging of the advertising hoardings ain't half annoying and personally always thought you have to be a bit simple to even  do that, pity the stewards couldn't have asked them to stop. Sorry if that's being a bit of a Scrooge!

Farsley reminded me of Stockport in our games last season - very organised in defence, very hard to break down, and only doing enough to win and little more. The goals we conceded were from poorly defended corners, and Wynne was by far the busier of the two keepers. Altrincham certainly had the chances to win but constantly bringing the ball inside just meant being faced with their two banks of four. It needed more guile. Why Lewis Walters is stuck at Trafford goodness only knows. We needed someone to get in behind and put decent crosses in. Williams for all his huff and puff doesn't create anything. We had far more drive when Simon Richman came on, and I'm always at a loss to know why he doesn't start.
