Exactly, the forecast is pretty much heavy rain from Friday onwards. Not much chance our pitch will cope.

Some Premier league ref will call it off at 8.00 am Saturday.   :P

We were pretty much the only club in England that postponed a game in September due to rain (vs Gateshead), at least this weekend a few more games are likely to be off as well.

Was text chatting with Hendos, who would have missed yesterday as he's taken advantage of a cheapo from Ryanair and gone to Croatia. He tells me that water polo is big over there, and thinks we could look at the potential for maximising our use of the pitch....
