...lose their opening game at home to Maidenhead.

They don't seem to have kicked on recruitment-wise, and have lost a couple of key players in Warburton and Duxbury.

Tough season ahead for them maybe?

It is always a noticeable step up, but I expect them to do ok over the season with a comfortable mid-table finish.

They are good at the back and ok in midfield could struggle up front but doubt they will go down

Maidenhead looked like that typical identikit National League team. Strong, capable but not at all exciting. Just did what they needed to do to win.

It actually was a bit like watching the difference between Altrincham and York , apart from the fact that our game was far more entertaining.

I do dread going up one day and having to face the Maidenheads etc - only the same as what Histon were doing years ago.

One thing Gannon teams seem to do is start slowly, so they'll probably be OK - but doubt they'll threaten towards the top.
