Jesus, what a complete shambles regarding tickets for the Harrogate game.

Clearly panicking their support will be crap someone at the club put forward a £10 admission fee for the game. The Harrogate chairman then says he wasn’t consulted on it and wants the standard price charged, fair enough as gate is 50/50. The Fylde CEO is then told
by national league you can’t reduce admission anyway. By now 90 Harrogate fans have purchased tickets. They’ve been told they have to ring the club for a refund and purchase a new ticket because Fylde can’t absorb the cost of the difference (£450) - meanwhile they’ve told their own fans that have already purchased they’ll absorb cost.

It’s also now transpired their under 16 price is incorrect and all those tickets need refunding 😮

God bless rules and regulations ! And if this isn't bad enough....

In the playoffs for the division below us, which could affect who one of our next season opponents would be if we didn't get promoted, total chaos has ensued due to the slowness of those concerned in dealing with a disciplinary matter.

Apparently Stratford Town played an unregistered player in February. No action having been taken by the powers that be in the succeeding two months, their playoff semi at Kings Lynn tonight has been postponed as there is a possibility of a points deduction.

King's Lynn's owner immediately threatened legal action unless the other semi was also called off so that the winners didn't gain an advantage from having a longer rest period before the final.

BUT.....the other semi is Stourbridge Town v Alvechurch, and the ground won't be available for football once the cricket season starts on Saturday, as it's owned by the Cricket Club who have priority.

Nobody knows what Stratford's potential points deduction is, but 5 or more points would mean that Coalville Town would be in the semi instead. One wonders whether they've already released some of their squad !
