Of course it wasn’t a back pass but I also can see why it was given, because of the inept standard of referring that infects our level of football. Agreed. Ref was a numpty but so was TT for picking up the ball. Sadly, if players can be inconsistent at this level, we shouldn’t expect any more of the refs.
