Is there a big gap between National league and League Two ?

I ask the Question as FGR were Outstanding last year, this year they cannot buy a win.

They seem to be financially sound, but sit bottom of League Two.I heard there Chairman had

A five year plan to be up into the Championship.

I think the big gap is between the conf national and the tier below..
Then an even bigger gap to our tier.
Fgr are making a right pigs cock of it currently..

That first gap is the obvious one. It's the point where part time and full time meet, hence the difficulties we now encounter in competing permanently at National level.

Teams moving up to League 2 USUALLY do reasonably well - usually financially sound. That's certainly true of Lincoln with the proceeds from their FA Cup exploits last season.  FGR are the first promoted club I've not felt delighted for since Accrington.

Having spent a few seasons watching League Two football at Pompey....
I know where you are coming from - there are some robustly built teams in League Two - but the three who went up last year all played decent football.

The standard in League One is another big step up from League Two.

You would have thought making all the players go vegan would give them such a massive advantage over the teams in the division.
