Barwell - 6/4
Draw - 11/4
Alty - 5/4

Hope Harrison, Poole and the others with slight injury concerns are ok for Saturday

Don't know quite what team I'd pick until knowing who's fit. The new lad could slot straight in at right back but don't have a concern over dens in that position if fully fit. I wonder if Liam Hardy at Buxton is tied in to a contract?

Same starting formation and 11 as Tuesday, with the exception of swapping Harrop for Peers.

Hoping to get there

Agreed just Harrop for Peers. Poole and Harrison can join the fray from the bench if they're properly recovered. I'm definitely there.

Poole for Peers if we're confident about him being OK - I trust PP to make sure he's 100% before making such a decision obviously.

Actually by that token I'd have Harrison in for Hannigan as well. The latter can replace Short if he starts blowing after an hour or so.

Tight result aside, PP's main objective in resting the pair of them on Tuesday worked a treat (hopefully).

Buxton 0-2 Mickleover last night. A win today could see us possible break into the top five, as it could for barwell. A big week this, a win today and at Workington on Tuesday who have had a very slow start could really see us make some headway before saturdays cup tie.

Sounds as if Hancock had a good half hour.

What all you top top Alti supporters have to remember is that these teams (like Abbey Hey, Coaville, Whitby, Barwell and all the rest) aren't going to lie down and let you rub their bellies every week.  They want to win just like we do.  Trust Phil the Power and Sorvs and their top support team to gain promotion and hopefully a good FA cup / or FA Trophy run...........SBL

We do realise this and wouldn't expect any team to be in awe of us, we've been relegated two years on the bounce ffs

Three well deserved points. We were a class ahead of Barwell, who tried to make up for a lack of footballing prowess with unnecessary physicality. This was assisted by the worst referee I've seen since the useless Mr.Salisbury four years ago (that half wit is actually on the League list now !)

Josh Hancock's free kick was worthy of a higher setting. I thought Jordan Hulme was outstanding and I'm not surprised he was gutted to have his goal chalked off. Steady debut from Joel Bembo-Leta.

BUT......we have to cure this habit of losing concentration for five minutes at a time. A half decent side would have extracted a greater toll than Kyle Perry's goal.

Finally, if that lot scored 6 at Sutton Coldfield, then THEY must be absolutely atrocious.

As your email address contains the surname 'Hancock', I'll take a wild stab that there's an outside chance that you may just be related to one of Alty's current squad...?

Lovely football today from Alty. Feels like we're on out way back. Thanks for sorting it out Phil  :)
