Deasy - completely bereft of confidence (Thompson couldn't possibly be worse)
Densmore - has lost a yard obviously, but did nothing wrong (Stafford not a threat out wide)
Short - one of our few decent players today
Hannigan - you just can't play both footballing centre halves - you need a bruiser (James Jones cough cough)
Harrison - would probably have been more effective as a centre forward today
Sheridan - pretty sure that his favourite colour must be orange, that's how often he found an orange shirt
Moult - another one who is playing with zero confidence. I've always liked Jake, but he looks spent to me
Hancock - did his best, but Jerome Wright will be laughing at the whole not guaranteed a first team place thing
Johnston - actually did his best, but was up against the best player on the pitch (their left back)
Richman - the best of 3 midfielders, but still ineffective, ran round like a headless chicken
Hulme - I pray to God he's not on a contract. A shadow of the player he was

Taylor - will play on Tuesday

Our manager is on record saying he wants the ground as a "cauldron." Sorry but we surrendered the terrace that makes it so. Wouldn't have effected the result, but going forward, get it sorted.

utterly gutted although the writing was on the wall after last saturday .

it is not rocket science if a team are bringing a couple of hundred fans there will be plenty who are pissed ( just look at our 50 at Rhyl )

we are a mild mannered lot and take most things in good humour something which other teams scummy fans see as a weakness they will always therefore take advantage given no segregation , the day will come if this continues that being goaded and pushed around backfires and the beloved sports hall ends up being smashed up . JUst segregate every game the manager has asked for the ground to be a cauldron dont make the away fans comfortable . they have the moss (king george) . if you want to make money off them set up a plastic bottle bar in the away end for big games .  we are letting people walk all over us . leave them a bit of cover if its raining .

uncoordinated and not thought through rant over

The Moss is shut for a refurb but I know what you mean. If a few of our lads had been in the bar at ht it could have turned nasty today. Rowley needs to sort his priorities out!!

For me today was an absolute disgrace. Other than a spell of tippy tappy football early on we offered nothing. This league is about strength, but we seem to be a team of James Lawrie. If Stafford a mid table team we have another relegation battle on our hands

Two big decisions for Parky to make before Tuesday. Jake Moult is a problem. He's the newly appointed club captain and the first player Parky signed , but anybody watching Alty in the last 18 months will know that he is a shadow of the player he was. He is so unbelievably slow and unathletic in the midfield, and is passing today was awful. He needs dropping in favour of Lawrence Taylor. Tim Deasey, whilst you could argue wasn't at fault today for the goals, is simply not good enough. We desperately need a half decent keeper.

What has Sam Sheridan been doing in the pre-season ? He was blowing out of his arse after 15 minutes today. Totally unimpressed by him.
Whilst Jordan Hulme hasn't been any good since his arrival, it was plainly obvious that he was totally isolated today up front on his own. Playing one up top at home in a league we are meant to be challenging for is pretty poor.

Smart and Johnson were ok

Oh and that winger that came on, what was all that about ? Nowhere near the standard required.

Ok .... one swallow doesn't make a summer. One game doesn't make a season....
Having said that.....
Deasey .. not good enough, can't kick, distribution is slow and sh*te, when the ball is played back to him he looks like its a fkn grenade with the pin out...

Mault ... can he not keep it simple ffs. We don't need 60-70 yard passes sprayed about constantly that put the recipient under instant pressure... Jake, your sh*te at pens, stop taking them, should have been hooked for Taylor...

Hannigan not seen a lot of him ( who has) but hasn't impressed me...

Richman should have stayed on the pitch..

JJ deserved man of the match as did Kai Davis there no3...

Collectively the team struggled to do the basics properly...

Stafford are long ball hoofers, we should have been capable of passing through them to win the game...

Overall 3/10...

See you at Nantwich... it needs sorting pdq Mr P...

Disgusted with the club tonight.

We haven't learnt from Chester.

A fan being punched in the head from behind.

Told by a steward moments prior to the incident the club dictated not to segregate.

I'm not condoning violence in any way, shape or form but I was in the bar at HT and the recipient of the punch can't really have any complaints.
