I understand  the lack of excitement completely; our season should have started last week. 4 0 today would be my honest prediction. The Nantwich and Matlock games will give a truer reflection of where we are.

Back 4 writes itself then I would go with 3 in midfield today. I would go with Richman, Sheridan and Taylor. Have Richman bobbing on, Hancock left, Johnston right with Peers up top.

Agreed. He's been named captain which is a massive indication. The only way Taylor will start is if Moult or Sheridan are unavailable or we play a three man midfield.

Fair enough. I'd rather Thompson started but it won't happen.

Regarding the Taylor/Sheridan selection, not much to choose between them. Just don't think PP will throw Taylor into the opening fixture.
