On the face of it, that's a very pleasing result indeed! Hopefully some clean sheets are just around the corner as this is probably the biggest concern, but feeling quite optimistic at the moment.

Listened to that on RR. Another good display and nice to see us knocking the ball about and keeping possession. Looking forward to the opening game of the season.

I didn't go today. I know it was only a friendly but that BPA team didn't look too bad to me on paper. 4 2 away to them seems a pretty decent result.

We gifted BPA both goals today with very silly individual mistakes. Hopefully just a rusty pre season error from Hannigan but I'm concerned about the goalkeeping position if Deasy hasn't overcome his fitness problems because Thopmson doesn't look good enough on today's evidence.

On today's evidence there will be 7 definite starters IMO....Deasy,Densmore,Short,Harrison,Johnston,Sheridan,Poole(suspended 1st game) The other 4 places are up for grabs.

We really were spoilt having Stuart Coburn. I hope we can find a young keeper at some point who makes the jersey his own, because it really makes a huge difference.

Cheers for the updates.

Sounds like our passing was a bit off today but we have to remember this is a virtual brand new team and we can't expect it to all to come together as fast as we may like.

As we know pre-season results are no indicator really but they won't have had losing at home to a team in the league below as their last friendly before the league starts in the plan.

It's nice to go into a Saturday evening with a win, friendly or not.

We'll need some tweeking I think but I'm very happy with where we are at present.  Keep it up lads.
