Is anyone on the forum in contact with the White family?

I wanted to pass on my condolences on the death of their son Ian. Ian was in my class at school.  A few of us got to go with him to the Everton up game on the directors coach. Great day.
I remember Ian ('Chalky' at school of course) playing for the school first team. He was a classy centre-half (in the days before classy centre-halves) with one of the fiercest shots I ever remember seeing.

Very sorry to hear he has passed away.

I knew Ian when I was at school. He was a close friend of Nigel Tomlinson who was in my class.

Very sad news
