It's a tough one but I have a feeling that Stafford or brig will be the top two

Even though it's merely achieving promotion rather than earning it I'd snap your hand off if u gave me promotion through the play offs now,we just need to get out of this league!

If we don't get out of this league at the first time of asking it will be an even bigger disaster than last season's debacle.

I don't think it will be easy.  Winning a league is more than being the best team, its consistency and grinding out results when things aren't quite working, we will still need our fair share

absolutely and we have a new manager and lots of new recruits

Great teams have to mould build and gel

Anyone who thinks that happens overnight has never led motivated or managed people

The best teams I ever led took days weeks and months of coaching training and leadership to be number 1

There is no magic wand

Don't get me wrong i want us up out of this league as much as everyone at this club

I agree but having the squad assembled early helps. We can hit the ground running with training already started, the squad already completed, and quite a few friendlies arranged already.

Maybe not that the friendlies have been arranged already but I don't recall how many friendlies we usually have, 9 seems a couple more than usual?

I think 9 games with a squad more or less fully assembled means we will be in an infinitely better position than last season.

I think Parky probably has a fair idea of his team and what he wants and it will force the squad to gel and perform.

I don't really care how we go up as long as we do.

Shaw lane will most likely be an (aqua) force next season. If we finish above them I think we'll be in the playoffs at least.

Over the past five years the number of PSFs has varied from seven (2013 & 2016) to eight (2012, 2014, 2015), so yes, it's more than usual but not by much.
