I'll be surprised if we sign another keeper as Deasy is contracted for next season. We could do with trying to come to an agreement to terminate his contract tbh so we can sign someone less injury prone.

Much depends on Tim Deasy's fitness, or, more to the point, his expected level of fitness.

If, as ExGK said recently, he will be up and running to start the season, then we will only sign or attract a young, up and coming keeper, who is prepared to learn and wait for his chance.

If however,  we know that Tim Deasy is bound to miss a few, or more, games, then we can attract, and need to sign, a more experienced goalkeeper, such as Jay Lynch, as an example.

I just hope that last season's tales of players making "comebacks" from injury, and then breaking down again, are all behind us.

I think the whole thing is depressing and demeaning. We do appear to be putting a reasonable squad for this league but quite frankly if we can't do so at this level then everyone should turn it in not just Rowley

your right it is sad .  However we have no choice now we have to build and move onwards and upwards

I have to say that I suspect  a more modest start to the season. In the top three by November is more realistic. There is bound to be a wild card that goes off like a train.  If we were to draw or lose the first game the sky will not fall in

Quietly pleased, dare not get too excited due to getting fingers burnt from the last trio.  Seems to know who he wants and is getting them in nice and early. 

So from day one and the first session he can start building some spirit and getting his ideas over.

Amusing how he is causing annoyance at other clubs as they have hardly signed anyone "like Alty have."  Everyone seems to be leaving Macc and Stockport as well which is causing forum ructions.

We are where we are, we don't have to like it but it isn't Parkys fault and he is making a good start.
