I can still close my eyes and see Mal Bailey leap like a salmon to send us to Wembley.

Some great posts and lots of my personal favourite memories

A few more funny ones would be preston away and getting a police escort to the ground then the scuffle in the pub after and the train on fire

Northwich and Southport away was always fun as well  utility very messy

Yeovil away when kingy and heathcote had to come around to the away end and tell the fans to stop dicking around as they might abandon tha match and we were 2 up at the time (big vanvader swinging from the goalpost will always be stuck in my mind)
When was that?
1994/95 season twas a epic day out in the sun and on th ebeer
1st game of that season I think

"We're here and we're from Altrincham" at Weymouth, although ultimately a disappointing day.  That away end just kept filling up in the minutes before kick off, far more there than expected

Not so happy but funny was Wycombe away in 1990 in my first non Northwich away game with Jimmy and Daz (and possibly Ste Groves?).

Ste asking what the "nogulf war" was when seeing it on the graffiti by the side of the train line and seeing my favourite bit of graffiti ever (don't derail the thread with favourite graffiti  ;) ) which said "Tojo the Dwarf".  Laughing at whether Tojo himself had wrote it or it was a heckle.

The taxi driver took us to Loakes Park from the station, we thought it was quiet for 2:30 when we realised that this was the old ground and not the new one they had just moved to!  Cheeky bastard charged us as a new fare as well for getting back in!

Lost 3-0 I think but didn't lose again for the next 28 games if I remember rightly.  As if that was nearly 27 years ago!
