As part of Altrincham Football Club’s ‘FA Charter Standard Community Club’ status, the club received a full junior team kit. This kit has since been donated to Oldfield Brow primary school after they recently attended Altrincham FC’s winter football tournament.

Altrincham FC Community Co-Ordinator, Judy Henson, said: “Oldfield Brow came along to our tournament in December and I noticed they had a tired looking, old style kit for their team. McDonald’s and The FA supply these free kits for teams just like Oldfield Brow, so we were thrilled the school decided to take us up on the offer. Oldfield Brow have recently just had a new building and astroturf pitch opened up on site, so we went along a took their football team for a coaching session to try out the new kit. There is definitely potential to get some of the sleeves cropped, but overall the kids loved the new strip and we are pleased to be able to help.”

Altrincham FC defender, Sam Heathcote, visited the school on Friday 27th January to carry out the training session with year 6 pupils.
