In the past we've signed other strikers from Halifax were finding goals hard to come by...

If we sign a striker who can't get a game in a mid table side in our league then it opitimises why we have no ambition to avoid relegation.

Why don't we offer top scorer in the league below good money then at least we have a proven striker for next seasons pub league campaign.

Before we worry about planning and signing players for next season, we need to find a manager first.

Joking apart but if it was Jordan Burrow I'd be delighted - bit part player in Halifax side or not. Think he could be just what we need. although we might have to make the radical change of supplying him with some service.

If I was a betting man, I'd probably expect it to be Ryan Brooke though.

Could be wrong, but I don't recall Jordan Burrow being particularly tall.

Jordan Burrow is 6' 1" but he signed for Gateshead last month for an undisclosed fee on an 18 month contract so it won't be him! If it's Ryan Brooke then it really is the end!

Anyone we get at this stage of the season is not going to dig us out of the current pile of poo if we are going down best keep our money safe and rebuild in the close season when better players are available, bringing back Kyle Perry or signing Richard Penniket would be  panic buys and the time for panicking as long passed. We need to win 5 games to get out of the bottom 3 and to stay out in our current position would require play off form and the way we are defending this season we wouldn't make the NPL play offs  next season. It needs a complete overhaul and that can only be done in the close season
