The club only get a bill for the ones who are an agreed that come in ground anything outside is at GMP expense

My wife saw six police horses going down Grove Lane. What was the crowd? I wasn't there, but this sounds a little OTT for Macc in the Trophy on a tuesday. Were they using it as a training exercise?

Think it was to do wiith some macc fans behaviour in the last couple of games at moss lane

Crowd was plus 700 200 from Macc, Yes last time police horses were at Moss lane in 1996 they were being used for training little did they know they would be needed when Bishop Auckland fans kicked off that day 6 arrested

Probably there for Millwall as well but didn't go so don't know. That day in 1996 always sticks in my mind had to go to court as a witness

The huge police presence was due to the fact Cheshire police believe Macclesfield were going to bring 700. How wrong they were
