The local paper is being generous there - especially to the new bloke (perhaps biased from seeing him play for Worcester previously?) who made a few good interceptions but only because he was not marking their forwards and Worcester were terrible and unable to find their men any more than we were.  Any half decent side would have passed it round him all day.  Hughes in particular regularly had 10+ yards of empty pitch around him in the final third.

I think our defence is so short of confidence that they are not marking their man properly because they have one eye on covering for their team mates when they inevitably let their man go.  This then becomes a self fulfilling prophesy as they are all doing the same thing and not marking anyone properly.  Tell them to focus on their own j0b and not worry about everyone else!

Passing around your players? I guess we'll stick to passing underneath them, as its goals wot counts ... like this one

There isnt really much of a need to attack Alty through the centre of defence, as you are so weak down the flanks. Chekaine Steele (who is only 19) roasted McWilliams at BPA about 3 weeks ago and did so again on Saturday ... but it is your right flank where the biggest mismatch was ... Keane and Weir tore Patterson apart down your right flank, as he was exposed time and time again ... and that is where both our first two goals came from. We play with wing-backs who can defend, but yours seem to play far forward, and seem to be unable to defend. They leaving huge gaps, and clearly Telford and BPA exploited you in those areas before we did again. Goodall screwed up against Telford through the middle, and again on Saturday.   Deasy made a big error for the second ..., as shown ...  No wonder Wayne Thomas was marked higher than those around him ...

What do you want us to say? That you are the second coming of Brazil 1970?

A fair assessment is that we were hopeless, putting in a performance any team in this league would be ashamed of. And you only managed to beat us 3-0 with 10 men.

That probably puts your performance at about 'meh'.

Do you think we don't know all of this? You speak as if you think you've noticed things about Alty on the basis of one game that those of us who've watched them all season haven't noticed. Look, we're f**king sh*t and it doesn't require Worcester's answer to Einstein to point it out at such tedious length.

Good luck to you for the rest of the season. I expect you mean well. But we're having an awful time here and you're not helping. The game was three days ago now so if you did feel like slinging your hook, I doubt any of us would object.

Can we have this guy as a summariser on Radio Robins please?
I like the matter of fact approach and the brutal honesty.
