Good News Regarding Brian Acton
« on: September 19, 2016, 01:27:39 PM »

Thanks to Altrincham supporter & helper, Bryan Ford, for providing an update on Brian Acton, the long-standing fan who collapsed just before the half-time whistle on Saturday.

Bryan has been to see Brian this morning, who was back home from hospital by 7pm on Saturday.

Fortunately, Brian's collapse was caused by sunstroke, rather than anything more serious or the understandable shock of Alty having just scored twice in as many minutes!

Brian would like to pass on his his thanks & gratitude for the help provided by stewards, St. John Ambulance staff, paramedics & fans at the scene. He is now looking forward to attending his Granddaughter's wedding, which takes place on the Isle of Wight this weekend.

I hope he remembers to pack some sun tan cream - just in case !
